Avanti Foundation

Avanti Foundation is a Charitable Trust established for undertaking CSR activities of Avanti Group. The Foundation objective is to undertake various initiatives in health, education, environment, infrastructure and sports especially in rural areas.

Environment

Several initiatives to reduce the effects of industrialisation on soil, environment and natural habitat.

Establishment of the Sujalam Safalam Jal Abhiyan 2019 at Sitapura-Asma Village for pond excavation.
Development of Green Belt with extensive plantations on village roads and highways.
Urban forestry initiatives for neighbouring wildlife sanctuaries, biological parks and reserves for protection of endangered species.
Active participation in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan alongside various government bodies for sanitation, waste management and cleanliness.
Provision of effluent discharge solutions to farmers for the careful removal of polluted wastewater from ponds.

Education

Programs to empower young individuals through education-oriented initiatives in the rural sector.

Establishment of an under-graduate and post-graduate college with a total of 1750 students (60% women) of commerce and science streams.
Establishment of Andhra University-Avanti Aquaculture Skill Development Centre. This project is in collaboration with the Department of Marine Living Sources of AU in Visakhapatnam and aimed at promoting aquaculture education. The Avanti Foundation has contributed to this cause through construction of modern classrooms, labs and equipment for students.
Establishment of better infrastructure in under-developed schools, colleges and government institutions located in Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat. The Avanti Foundation provides them with new buildings, toilets, computers, fans, furniture, etc. and books and uniforms for the school students.
Infrastructural contribution to almost 20 nos. of Government Zila Parsad Primary & High School, Loyala Public School, ABN & PRR College in Kovvur and JKC College in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, to help accommodate more students.
Monetary contribution to local charities that focus on education for girl children from marginalised families. The Avanti Foundation also awards scholarships to students from economically backward families.

Infrastructure

Necessary contributions in the form of amenities and utilities to improve the living conditions of our rural population.

Establishment of an old age home for 100 residents in Kannapuram, Andhra Pradesh.
Development of water treatment RO plants that provide safe drinking water in coastal areas of Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh over 25 villages
Developed Kitchen at Akshaya Patra to supply food to School & Hospitals
Development of infrastructure at the indoor badminton court in Kovvur.
Aquaculture Extension Project – provision of equipment aerators, sludge removing pumps and weighing scales to shrimp farmers in Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Odisha, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal.
Development of a gym and sports arena in Kovvur.

Health

Contributions in the form of infrastructure, hospital equipment and medical camps to stamp out hunger, poverty and malnutrition.

Free medical and eye checkup camps at Kovvur.
Contributions to Indian Red Cross Society for the establishment of thalassemia, sickle cell and haemophilia Transfusion Centre at Eluru, Andhra Pradesh.
Contributions to Hrudaya Cure Heart Foundation, a charity that provides medical care to infants with heart diseases from marginalised sections of the society in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Development of maternity ward in Government Hospital and Government Veterinary Hospital in Kovvur .
Contributions to Sri Venkateswara Pranadana Trust program which offers free medical facilities to marginalised families.
Installation of a 1,000 LPH Water Purifier System at ABN & PRR College, Kovvur.

Sport

Efforts to promote sporting habits in children and young adults in rural areas that surround our facilities.

Sponsorship of world ranking Snooker tournament at Visakhapatnam, Federation Cup Volleyball Championship at Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh and village cricket tournament at Kosamba in Gujarat.
Organisation of coaching camps and tournaments for volleyball, badminton and cricket in and around Kovvur.
Provision of equipment, sponsorships and skill development programs to young and promising sportspersons to enable them to reach national standards.

Emergency Services

Emergency relief measures in collaboration with government bodies to assist families and individuals affected by the pandemic.

Contributions to the PM Cares Fund, AP CM Relief Fund, AP Police Covid-19 Welfare Association and Kovvur Municipality Covid-19 Welfare Association.
Distribution of food grains and 36000 meals to the quarantine centre at Eluru for 200 people per day for 2 months.
Distribution of 1,00,000 masks to farmers in rural areas.
Establishment of disinfection tunnels in Kovvur.

Others

Distribution of relief material to those affected by cyclones Phani in Odisha, Ghaja in Tamil Nadu and Titli in Andhra Pradesh.
Contributions to the National Defence Fund and Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
Donations to Crafts Council of Telangana to nurture the state’s art and culture.
